The 'Tudes joined some of our fellow CT surf bands on the sidewalk in front of the Firestone Gallery on Main Street for a twangy extravaganza during this amazing display of hundreds of classic and antique cars. There was a chance of rain the whole time, but it held off until everyone had played!

The Aquatudes brought the reverb and twang to a surf-themed family weekend event at this lakeside community. It started out great, but after we played for about an hour, a windy and intense rain shower blew through and the rest of the performance had to be cancelled - bummer!

It was a surf party at this craft distillery - The "Tudes added some twang and reverb, as well as some 12-string jangle, to the festivities at the tasting shed! Folks sampled some of their signature spirits while we played.

Matt (Wu-Tan Clam) from the Clams sat in on bass with Dick and Tom at this annual giant car show. The Exotic Surf Tones and the Clams also played, all in front of the Firestone Gallery on Main Street.

The 'Tudes played under the tent at this outdoor venue. "Spacious outdoor seating" was available for social distancing. A bunch of people stayed for the whole 2-hour show, including some friends. Several people danced, with one person in particular dancing up a storm to many of our tunes!

The Museum was open Friday evenings for trolley rides and music.
We played outdoors, of course, and stood our usual 6+ feet apart. The audience was much farther away and space-out on the lawn.
The Museum follows the State of Connecticut Phase 2 guidelines for the safety of visitors, staff and volunteers (and the band!).

The 'Tudes played this gig with our friends New Earth on what had to be the hottest evening of the year. We played mostly originals with a few choice covers. The outdoor stage was a little bouncy and Tom's tube reverb would make a wild crashing sound whenever Dick pounded on the drums, as evidenced in the video below.

Defintely a fun day - people sampled brews and wines, rode the trolleys and grooved to a variety of cool live music!

The 'Tudes opened, followed by the Acoustic Surf Tones and The Clams. It was a perfect summer day for the event and it was great to hang out with our fellow NESMA friends.

They played lots of tunes from their new CD, plus a few Ventures songs in honor of the late Nokie Edwards. Then they were able to stay for the whole set by thier friends from New Jersey, Blue Wave Theory. They also got a copy of the latest awesome CD by the Tarantinos NYC (also on the bill) and blasted that in the car on the way back home to Connecticut.

It was an event titled "A Night of Remembrance for Gary Trail" - Gary was a coworker and friend of Aqua-Tom's. They performed together with a third colleague at company events and talked endlessly about guitars and music. Gary also was the sound engineer at Roaring Brook Nature Center as well as their webmaster. Gary helped get The Aquatudes in to play at Roaring Brook for what became an annual surf night for three years.

We were all treated to inspired performances by acoustic ace Stephen Bennett and RBNC Concert Series organizer Stan Sullivan, as well as two standout open-mike participants.

The "Tudes played a combo of surf originals, some surf classics and a few cocktail-exotica tunes with Dick on the bongos.

The 16th Annual Blues, Berries, & Jam, a free lunchtime concert series on The New Haven Green. was the scene! The concerts are hosted by UltraRadio.com, a New Haven based Internet Radio Station that plays 100% Connecticut Music.
The 'Tudes played the final 2016 date for this series and had a great time on the gas-powered stage!
