The Aquatudes played at the July installment of the monthly family-focused event at the Atheneum. It was a beach-themed day with cool activities and related art on display.
The 'Tudes played in beautiful Avery Court, among beachy paintings by Picasso, Dali, and other masters. Some of the kids took advantage of the shakers we brought and added some extra rhythm to the tunes. Avery Court is a very reverberant room and, since we were playing in a museum in the first place, we had to really watch the volume. We may now hold the distinction of being the world's quietest surf band! View the evidence of this as we quietly play Black Sand Beach.
